When our emotional health is in a bad state, so is our level of self-esteem. We have to slow down and deal with what is troubling us, so that we can enjoy the simple joy of being happy and at peace with ourselves.
Being mindful essentially means not allowing your emotions to take over; because when that happens, our overall emotional wellbeing is threatened. We become rash, careless, anxious, impulsive, and all those things which lead us to make bad and sometimes inappropriate decisions. Mindfulness hence, is a mindset.
Simple daily mindfulness practices helps to reshape your thought process and makes you more resilient. As a result, the part of your brain which is linked to your overall well-being and immune system gets activated, and there is a significant improvement in that region of your brain which regulates emotions.
When you attend these sessions you will notice a significant difference in the way you handle emotional challenges. You will notice an improvement in concentration, focus and objectivity allowing you to feel a greater sense of peace and commitment. This overall change will also be noticed by those around you providing positive benefits to all.
You will also be invited to attend a monthly group to continue to practice what you have learnt and share your journey at the end of the sessions.
